Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 17, 2010 for the annual
Tide Spring Banquet!
When: Saturday, April 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Location: The Ballroom at the Virginia Beach Convention Center

Dinner: Sit-down dinner. In order to allow plenty of time for
the kids to dance,
dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Kids Meal Option - $15
Fruit Cup
Chicken Tenders, Macaroni & Cheese
Chef’s Choice Vegetable
Adult Meal Option #1 (Chicken) - $25
Fresh Field Greens Salad w/ Cucumbers, Tomatoes
and Carrots, with Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette
Blackened Chicken Breast with Cilantro Cream Sauce and Topped
with Mango Salsa
Chef’s Choice of Starch and Fresh Vegetable of the Day
Adult Meal Option #2 (Fish) - $25
Fresh Field Greens Salad with Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Carrots
served with Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette
Pan Roasted Salmon with an Orange Almond Beurre Blanc
Chef’s Choice of Starch and Fresh Vegetable of the Day
Adult Meal Option #3 (Steak) - $25

Herb Grilled Flat Iron Steak with an Onion Demi Glace
Chef’s Choice of Starch and Fresh Vegetable of the Day
Dessert will include cake for the swimmers and an assortment of
irresistible petite desserts for all adults.
All dinner options include ice water, iced tea, soda and/or
coffee. A cash bar will be available for all adults in attendance.
Reservation Instructions: All reservations and seat selections
will take place using the TIDE website (must be logged in). Payment
for meals will automatically be billed to your TIDE account. Please
follow the instructions below to ensure proper seat and meal
selection. Reservations MUST be made no later than Friday, March
26th
Seating: If you desire to sit at a table with specific
friends/family, you will be able to reserve your seats through the
TIDE website (see tab under meets/events). You will need to log in
before you can use this feature. Members are encouraged to sign up
for a table assignment, even if they are not part of a group of 10.
When you have your name listed, others will be able to see who is
planning to attend the banquet and they will see where there are
open seats. A group may appoint one person to make the group's
seating arrangements. Any changes will have to be made by the
person who originally entered the names. If you do not have a
preference, you can select your seat on Banquet night from those
that were not reserved via the website.
PLEASE NOTE: SWIMMERS IN TIDE III AND ABOVE WILL BE PERMITTED TO
SIT WITH THEIR TEAMMATES AT RESERVED SWIMMERS TABLES. THOSE TABLE
ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE MADE THROUGH THE WEBSITE. THEY WILL BE
HANDLED AT THE PRACTICE GROUP LEVEL. Any TIDE III and above swimmer
who wants to sit with family members and not at a swimmers table
should reserve his/her seat via the website. Younger swimmers (TIDE
II and below) will only be permitted to sit together if their
parents are sitting at an adjacent table. Please reserve your TIDE
II or younger swimmer’s seat on the website along with your
family’s seating. Only ten (10) people per table maximum are
permitted (this includes high chairs for infants).
Slide Show: We’re promised another fabulous slide show,
BUT we need those photos of your swimmers from this past season.
Please e-mail them to: John Roche at 6roches@cox.net or copy them
to a CD/DVD and call John to arrange a handoff no later than March
31st
